Blue Claw

A blue crab is the only thing out here that will back into a corner, put both claws up, and dare something ten times its size to come try. You catch them off a dock with a chicken neck and a dip net, or you run traps and hope, and either way you lose a few to the ones that let go on the way up. Drawn as an old rope-ringed crest — the crab over the open bay with marsh grass on one side and a stilt house out on the pilings, Bushwacker Bay and Orange Beach, AL set around the ring.
